Volleyball Recap: Vacaville Comes Up Short

Vacaville lost against Vanden back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Vacaville sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 23-25, 25-23, 19-25, 15-9.

Vacaville's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Vanden, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Vacaville is set to square off against their familiar foe Rodriguez at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Vanden will challenge rival Pioneer at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
