Softball Recap: V.R. Eaton Drops Highest Score of Season Against Keller

V.R. Eaton extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 11-13 in the process. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 21-19 heartbreaker at the hands of the Keller Indians. On the bright side, the 19- run performance marked the Eagles' highest-scoring game to date.

As for Keller, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-6-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.6 runs over those games.

For Keller's part, Sydona Meiser was a standout: she went 4-for-6 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs Meiser has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenna Jackson, who went 4-for-6 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI.

As of now, neither V.R. Eaton nor Keller have any future games scheduled.
