Baseball Recap: Centennial's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

Centennial and Lincoln squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Centennial had to settle for second. They lost 14-4 to the Railsplitters. The Chargers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Centennial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Miller, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one double. Tate Sauer was another, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Centennial now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Lincoln, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Centennial nor Lincoln have any future games scheduled.
