Basketball Recap: Glenrock Comes Up Short

On Friday, Glenrock faced Powell in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Glenrock Herders were beaten by the Powell Panthers 88-45. The Herders lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in January of 2015, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 66-56 score last time.

Glenrock's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Powell, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Glenrock has already played their next game, a 64-52 loss against Hot Springs County on the 18th. As for Powell, they will face off against Cody at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
