Volleyball Recap: Waterloo East Comes Up Short

Waterloo East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lisbon Lions.

Waterloo East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Lisbon, they pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.

Waterloo East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Belle Plaine on the 27th. As for Lisbon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against East Marshall on the 27th.
