Basketball Recap: Cadott Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bloomer, Cadott was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Thorp Cardinals by a score of 59-46. While the Hornets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Cadott's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Thorp, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cadott and Stanley-Boyd will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Stanley-Boyd knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Cadott likes a good challenge. Thorp will take on Regis in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
