Preview: Prospect vs. Powers
This week, Powers is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. It faces off against Prospect on Friday at 7:00 PM. Neither team managed to put together many points last game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
After flying high the game before (36 points), Powers faltered in its previous match. Things didn't go well at all for it last week, where the team lost 52 - 0 to Camas Valley.
As for Prospect, the result of its previous contest was disheartening but, based on state rankings, not too surprising. It was outplayed 66 - 0 in its contest against Elkton last week. Things were already looking bleak at the break as Prospect was down 66 - 0.
After their losses, Prospect dropped to 0-3 and Powers dropped to 1-4. With both Powers and Prospect blocked from the scoreboard in their previous games, the teams will be eager to prove themselves against one another this week.
