Softball Recap: Cerro Gordo/Bement Falls Short of Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond in the Playoffs

Cerro Gordo/Bement and Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Cerro Gordo/Bement had to settle for second. They came up short against the Knights, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 back in March.

Cerro Gordo/Bement has also been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, their record now sits at 13-15.
