The McQueen Lancers are taking a road trip to take on the Bishop Manogue Miners at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McQueen will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
McQueen came out on top against Reno on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fifth inning. The Lancers blew past the Huskies 11-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Lancers' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Violet Moyao made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Moyao was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with five RBI and two doubles. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, McQueen let Vanessa Bein and Lilly Fanene run wild. Bein went 3-for-4 with three runs and two doubles, while Fanene went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Fanene has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Guber, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.
McQueen hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in 12 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Bishop Manogue finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Galena. The Miners' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
Kaylee Sanchez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Bishop Manogue saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sis King, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that King has hit this season.
Bishop Manogue's defeat dropped their record down to 20-9-1. As for McQueen, their record is now 18-13.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. McQueen hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Bishop Manogue struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.2 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
McQueen came out on top in a nail-biter against Bishop Manogue when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lancers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
