Baseball Recap: Chiawana Comes Up Short

Chiawana managed to slip by Southridge the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Riverhawks lost 12-4 to the Suns on Tuesday. The Riverhawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Suns earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Chiawana's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-2. As for Southridge, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Chiawana wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 4-0 defeat against Kamiakin on the 4th. As for Southridge, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-10 loss against Hanford on the 4th.
