Softball Recap: Valley Christian Trojans vs. Coolidge Bears

Valley Christian can now show off 22 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Coolidge Bears a 13-0 shutout. The win was familiar territory for Valley Christian who now have 14 in a row.

Makay Fraley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Fraley has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Fraley was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Kat Hanson was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4.
