Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Alameda). They never let the San Rafael Bulldogs get on the board and left with  a   21-0  win  on Tuesday. With that  victory, the Hornets brought their scoring average up to 7.8  runs per game.
 Kaylee Huey looked comfortable as she  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in three consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Miley Gradney, who  scored two  runs while going 4-for-4. What's more,  she posted two  doubles, the most she's  had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Mia Wong, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 Alameda  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  struck out at most five  strikeouts in three consecutive  matchups.
