Ronan took an eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Polson, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Chiefs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 win over the Pirates on Thursday.

Ronan's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Polson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Coincidentally, Ronan and Polson will both be playing Browning the next time they take the field. The Chiefs will head out to face the Runnin Indians at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Pirates will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
