Football Game Preview: Clear Springs Chargers vs. Clear Falls Knights + Official Tickets

After each having a week off, the Clear Springs Chargers and the Clear Falls Knights will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clear Springs is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Two weeks ago, Clear Springs didn't have too much trouble with Brazoswood as they won 26-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Chargers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Buccaneers are ranked 395th).

Clear Springs had a senior duo take command as Kody Rosas threw for 122 yards and three touchdowns and Daran Bolden rushed for 127 yards while picking up 7.5 yards per carry.

Meanwhile, Clear Falls really took it to Clear Creek for the full four quarters, racking up a 36-6 victory. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Clear Springs' victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Clear Falls, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Clear Springs strolled past Clear Falls when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 27-10. Will the Chargers repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
