Football Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 42-6 loss at the hands of the Mason Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Quakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 399th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 59th).

Josh McNeal threw for 87 yards on four of 11 attempts. On the ground, Kenyatta Gee rushed for 53 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mason, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
