Football Recap: Thompson Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Despite a strong season so far, Thompson Valley has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against the Pomona Panthers on Thursday, falling 28-7. The contest was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Eagles couldn't quite close it out.

Logan Belden threw for 35 yards. Jonah Tugwell was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards. On the ground, Tristin Hill rushed for 64 yards.

Pomona's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luis Santana, who rushed for 134 yards and one score while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmitt Munson, who gained 58 total yards and two touchdowns.

Thompson Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Pomona, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Thompson Valley nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
