Basketball Game Preview: Ridge Community Bolts vs. Auburndale Bloodhounds

Ridge Community is 0-6 against Auburndale since January of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Ridge Community Bolts will be playing in front of their home fans against the Auburndale Bloodhounds at 8:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Ridge Community is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They took a 69-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Riverview Sarasota.

Meanwhile, Auburndale waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Broncos by a score of 67-55.

Auburndale has also been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Ridge Community, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.
