Jarrett Newell, Eastern Alamance's leader in runs on the season, led the team again on Wednesday. Newell went 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. The effort marked the most RBI he has had since back in May of 2024.

Newell and Eastern Alamance will be playing at home against Cedar Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles had to take a loss when they last met the Fighting Red Wolves, but Newell had little to do with the loss: he went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double.
