Soccer Game Preview: Fife vs. Clover Park

The Fife Trojans will face off against the Clover Park Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clover Park took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Fife, who comes in off a win.

Fife proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by four) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Evergreen 2-1. The win continues a trend for Fife in their matchups with Evergreen: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Clover Park was not quite Franklin Pierce's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 1-0. Clover Park have struggled against Franklin Pierce recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Clover Park now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Fife, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Fife skirted past Clover Park 4-3 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will Fife repeat their success, or does Clover Park has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
