Basketball Recap: Marlboro County Has No Trouble Against Aynor

On Thursday, the Marlboro County Bulldogs strolled past the Aynor Blue Jackets with points to spare, taking the game 41-26. That 15 point margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Several Blue Jackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Terianna Richardson, who posted 11 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. That was a full 42.3% of Aynor's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Elisha Huffman, who posted seven points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

Marlboro County's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8. As for Aynor, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Marlboro County will head out to take on Georgetown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aynor, they will host Dillon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
