Muncy scaled the state rankings by moving to 392 from 418 this week, the biggest jump in Heartland III. The Indians climbed the ranks as a result of besting Sayre 40-0.

Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Southern Columbia Area beat Central Columbia 44-12. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.

Bloomsburg's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ricky Klingerman threw for 193 and 1 touchdown and Colby Klingerman had 78 yards receiving. On the ground Klingerman chipped in 55 yards. Zach Ashford helped Bloomsburg's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 70 yards.

Klingerman was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 55 yards on 13 carries as the Panthers fell to Danville. Teammate Sam Miller added to the ground attack by rushing for 23 yards.

Bloomsburg's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Klingerman has thrown for 1,410 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Klingerman has 55 catches for 632 yards.

An important game coming up in Heartland III this week will be when Southern Columbia Area takes on Warrior Run. The Tigers are currently in first, while the Defenders are in fifth.

Muncy made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,009 from 9,540. The advance stemmed from a 40-0 victory over the Redskins last week.
