Basketball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 55-48 to the Christian Academy Warriors.

Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joshua Renfro led the charge by going 8 for 17 on his way to 28 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of David Cook, who posted 17 points and six rebounds.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Brownstown Central the next time they take the court. Christian Academy will head out to face Brownstown Central at 4:20 p.m. on Friday, while Madison will play them later in the day, at 12:50 p.m.
