Baseball Preview: Appomattox County Raiders vs. Chatham Cavaliers
The Appomattox County Raiders will challenge the Chatham Cavaliers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Appomattox County's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Chatham has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road.
Appomattox County came out on top against William Campbell on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fifth inning. The Raiders blew past the Generals 13-3. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Generals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Isaac Records looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
