Basketball Recap: FAU High Has No Trouble Against First Baptist

While FAU High didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on the First Baptist Tigers with a sharp 60-36 win on Thursday. That looming 60-36 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Owls yet this season.

FAU High's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jarret Mauvais, who went 9 for 17 on his way to 24 points. The game was Mauvais' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shepherd Britton, who went 8 of 16 on his way to 17 points.

The win made it two in a row for FAU High and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

FAU High has already played their next matchup, a 50-35 victory against Sheridan Hills Christian on the 20th. First Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
