Basketball Game Preview: Hilltop Christian Chargers vs. Faith Christian Academy Conquerors

Hilltop Christian and Faith Christian Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Hilltop Christian Chargers will host the Faith Christian Academy Conquerors at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Friday, Hilltop Christian came up short against Wilmington Christian Academy and fell 32-21.

Despite their defeat, Hilltop Christian saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Meleah Bell, who posted six points along with 13 rebounds and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. That's the most boards Bell has posted since back in February of 2024.

Meanwhile, Faith Christian Academy also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Gramercy Christian by a score of 41-30.

Faith Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Hilltop Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8.

Hilltop Christian took their victory against Faith Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 45-20. Will Hilltop Christian repeat their success, or does Faith Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
