Preview: North Mason Bulldogs vs. Port Angeles Roughriders

North Mason has been on the road for three straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Port Angeles Roughriders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Mason will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 219th, while Port Angeles is ranked 76th).

Last Tuesday, North Mason lost to Kingston on the road by a decisive 57-40 margin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Mason has scored all season.

Despite the defeat, North Mason saw an underclassman step up: Cameron Revelez scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Andrew Littrean, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.

North Mason struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Port Angeles put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They put the hurt on Sequim with a sharp 77-52 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Port Angeles has posted against Sequim since May 12, 2021.

North Mason has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Port Angeles, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
