Volleyball Recap: Lodi Takes a Loss

Lodi was the 3-0 winner over Lake Mills when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Devils fell just short of the L-Cats by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Defeat or not, Lodi got some senior leadership from Fayth Hesselberg and Ella Best. Hesselberg had 14 digs and three assists, while Best had seven assists and six digs.

Lodi now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Lake Mills, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Lodi will head out on the road to take on Poynette at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils are facing the Pumas at the right time seeing as the Pumas are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Lake Mills has already played their next game (against Dominican), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
