Volleyball Recap: Lodi Takes a Loss

Lodi was the 3-0 winner over Lake Mills when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Devils fell just short of the L-Cats by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Brielle Burros paced Lodi's offense, picking up 11 kills. Burros got some help from Hailey Bell and her 11 assists. Aly Kutz controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lodi now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Lake Mills, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Lodi will head out to face off against Poynette at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Blue Devils' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Lake Mills, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Dominican on the 30th.
