While Sparkman didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-26), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the New Hope Indians on Tuesday. The Senators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sparkman took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14.

Sparkman has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for New Hope, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Sparkman has already played their next game (against Hazel Green), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for New Hope, they will challenge Grissom at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
