Softball Recap: Marked Tree Takes a Loss

Marked Tree lost to Riverside back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians came up short against the Rebels, falling 21-6.

Marked Tree's loss dropped their record down to 5-3-1. As for Riverside, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Marked Tree has already played their next contest (against Hillcrest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Riverside, they will take on Paragould at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.43 runs per game on average), something the Rebels will no doubt try to take advantage of.
