Baseball Recap: Little Axe Comes Up Short

Little Axe managed to slip by Casady the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians came up short against the Cyclones on Friday, falling 13-2. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cyclones earlier this season, when they won 8-6.

Little Axe has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Casady, their win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Little Axe will face off against Star-Spencer at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Indians are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Casady, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-3 victory against Stratford on the 12th.
