Glendale is a perfect 4-0 against Blacklick Valley since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Glendale will head out on the road to take on Blacklick Valley at 4:15 p.m. Glendale's hitters has struggled lately (they haven't scored a run in three consecutive games), something the team is no doubt ready to change.

Glendale managed to slip by Mount Union the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings lost 6-0 to the Trojans on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Blacklick Valley had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 10-7 victory over Turkeyfoot Valley Area on Tuesday.

Blacklick Valley got a massive performance out of Lauren Rohrabaugh, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs Rohrabaugh has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Woods, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs.

Blacklick Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .575. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Blacklick Valley's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-8. As for Glendale, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything went Glendale's way against Blacklick Valley when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Glendale made off with a 15-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Glendale since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
