Baseball Game Preview: Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils vs. Norwin Knights

For the second straight game, Mt. Lebanon will face off against Norwin. The Blue Devils will host the Knights at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Mt. Lebanon 3.9, Norwin 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Mt. Lebanon managed to slip by Norwin the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Blue Devils lost 11-3 to the Knights on Monday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Blue Devils, who until this contest were averaging 3.89 runs allowed.

The win (which was Norwin's third in a row) raised their record to 11-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Mt. Lebanon, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-5.
