Basketball Game Preview: Jefferson Bears vs. Flat Rock Rams

Jefferson hasn't had much luck against Flat Rock recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Jefferson Bears will square off against the Flat Rock Rams at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Jefferson lost to St. Mary Catholic Central at home by a 66-47 margin. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 523rd, while the Falcons/Kestrels are ranked 181st).

Meanwhile, Flat Rock ended up a good deal behind Riverview on Friday and lost 59-43.

This is the second loss in a row for Jefferson and nudges their season record down to 7-13. As for Flat Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.

Jefferson took a serious blow against Flat Rock when the teams last played back in January, falling 68-37. Can Jefferson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
