Clearwater won the last time they faced East Lake, and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the Clearwater Tornadoes' way against the East Lake Eagles as the Clearwater Tornadoes made off with a 35-14 victory. The Tornadoes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Clearwater's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaylen White, who rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 238 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes. Jerry Drain also helped out as he racked up 140 rushing yards.

Clearwater was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 309 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2023.

The win was the fourth in a row for Clearwater, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. As for East Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Clearwater didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 49-6 victory against River Ridge on the 21st. As for East Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-17 defeat against Largo on the 25th.
