Football Recap: Macon Falls Short of Brookfield in the Playoffs

Macon and Brookfield squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Macon had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Bulldogs and fell 38-7. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Macon's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5. As for Brookfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Macon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brookfield, they will take on Monroe City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.
