Volleyball Recap: Perkiomen School Comes Up Short

After flying high against Academy of the New Church last Thursday, Perkiomen School came back down to earth. The Panthers fell 3-1 to Shipley on Thursday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Shipley apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Perkiomen School ultimately came up short, they really made Shipley work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-13, 29-27, 24-26, 25-21.

Perkiomen School's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-4-1. As for Shipley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Perkiomen School has already played their next match (against Archbishop Wood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Shipley, they will host Academy-Notre Dame De Namur at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
