Kofa's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the San Luis Sidewinders 3-0. The Kings haven't had any issues with the Sidewinders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-14.

Kiya Sayre paced Kofa's offense, picking up 11 kills. Sayre got some help from Melina Martinez and her 11 assists. Martinez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Kofa's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-11. As for San Luis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
