Fleming is 8-2 against Prairie since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Fleming is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Weldon Valley 60-16. With that win, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 33.5 points per game.

Meanwhile, Prairie won against Briggsdale two weeks ago with 51 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Mustangs blew past North Park 51-6. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Prairie didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Derek Dollarschell picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win got Fleming back to even at 2-2. As for Prairie, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.

Friday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. Fleming has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 203.8 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Prairie, though, as they've been averaging only 49.2 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?

Fleming won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, slipping by Prairie 45-44. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
