After a string of five wins, Mary Persons's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 4-1 to Dutchtown. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Mary Persons was already down 3-0.

Mary Persons' defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Dutchtown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Mary Persons will face off against Locust Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Locust Grove will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Mary Persons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dutchtown, they will welcome Jones County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
