Monterey's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Palo Duro Dons with a sharp 20-2 win. The Plainsmen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by ten runs or more this season.

Monterey has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.6 runs over those games. As for Palo Duro, they dropped their record down to 3-22 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither Monterey nor the Dons have any future games scheduled.
