Football Recap: Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic's offense. They took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Classical Prep Lions. If the Hurricanes were looking for revenge after losing 31-6 to the Lions when the teams met back in March of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic and nudges their season record down to 0-2. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.5 points on average over those games. As for Classical Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 38-0 win against St. John Lutheran on the 4th. As for Classical Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-6 victory against Anclote on the 5th.
