Carlson had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Dundee on Saturday. The Marauders put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 15-3 victory. The Marauders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by eight runs or more this season.

Carlson got a massive performance out of Addison Skinner, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Skinner a new career-high. Emilee Konkus was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

Carlson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .395. They are 9-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win (which was Carlson's fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Dundee, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-5 record.

Carlson will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair will be back at it again later today.
