Basketball Recap: Covenant Comes Up Short

Covenant lost against Prince of Peace back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Covenant Knights took a 50-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prince of Peace Eagles. The match marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Covenant lost, don't look at Luke Thomason. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Caden Jolly, who scored five points.

Covenant's loss dropped their record down to 19-13. As for Prince of Peace, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-15 record this season.
