Soccer Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Stuyvesant

Beach Channel typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Stuyvesant proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Dolphins. The win was all the more spectacular given Stuyvesant's disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 341st, while Beach Channel are ranked 86th).

Stuyvesant now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Beach Channel, the loss snapped their winning streak at nine matches and leaves them with a 10-2 record.

As of now, neither Stuyvesant nor the Dolphins have any future games scheduled.
