Basketball Recap: Lincoln North Star's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Lincoln North Star couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell to the Millard West Wildcats 34-28. The match marked the Navigators' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

It was another big night for Neleigh Gessert, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine boards for Millard West. Gessert is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Norah Gessert, who posted six points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists.
