            Basketball Preview: Harding Skippers vs. Pymatuning Valley Lakers        
        
		
        
        
            Harding hasn't had much luck against Pymatuning Valley recently, but that could start to change  on Thursday. The Harding Skippers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Pymatuning Valley Lakers  at 5:30  p.m. Harding has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Harding is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They were  outmatched by St. John and fell  63-34.
  Jana Vale put forth a good effort for the losing side as  she  posted 12  points.  Ella Adams was another key player,  putting up eight points and eight  boards.
Meanwhile,  after a string of 12 wins, Pymatuning Valley's good fortune finally ran out  on Monday. They took  a  43-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Maplewood.
 Defeat or not, Pymatuning Valley got some senior leadership from  Jolene Sharpe and  Kelsie Britton.  Sharpe  put up two  points along with six  rebounds and three  steals, while  Britton  had eight points. Another player making a difference was  Mae Struna, who  earned six  points.
 Harding's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Pymatuning Valley, their defeat  ended  a  ten-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 14-5.
 Harding took a serious blow against Pymatuning Valley  when the teams last played  back in December of 2024, falling  53-16. Can Harding avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
