After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glacier, Bozeman was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Billings Senior Broncs 42-14. The Hawks' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Van Shockley had a dynamite game, throwing for 291 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt, and also punching in a pair of TDs on the ground.

Bozeman's defense stepped up as well, laying out Severen Cellan. four times. Billings Senior's QB won't forget Connor Baller anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Baller is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

When it comes to explaining why Billings Senior lost, don't look at Brendan Koch. Despite the final result, he rushed for 72 yards and one score on only six carries. Koch's longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Bozeman now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Billings Senior, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
