Winamac and North Miami are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. Winamac will welcome North Miami at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Winamac is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Winamac is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Carroll just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

Makayla Werner made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, North Miami beat Northfield 10-5 on Friday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Norsemen recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Winamac's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for North Miami, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.

Winamac came out on top in a nail-biter against North Miami when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. Does Winamac have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Miami turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
