Antelope's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 32-10 margin over the McClatchy Lions. The Titans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Antelope's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was David Yakubovskiy, who rushed for 64 yards and two TDs on only seven carries. Another rusher making a difference was Philip Goudeaux III, who gained 110 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Antelope was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 235 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Antelope's defense and their four sacks. In that department, Dominik Davis was the leader with two. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

Antelope's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for McClatchy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Antelope will host West Park at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The Titans will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for McClatchy, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cordova at 7:30 p.m. The Lions are facing the Lancers at the right time seeing as the Lancers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
