Basketball Recap: Parkwood Wolf Pack vs. Sun Valley Spartans
Parkwood gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They walked away with a 67-55 win over the Sun Valley Spartans. For the Wolf Pack, this counts as revenge for the 58-50 victory the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Parkwood found their leader in sophomore Nehemiah Davis, who shot 57% from the field on his way to 26 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. The matchup was Davis' fourth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anwar Bit, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 boards.
Parkwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sun Valley only pulled down six.
Sun Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Noah McKinney, who posted 19 points. Jayden Jeffery was another key player, putting up 11 points.
Sun Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Parkwood has already played their next contest, a 67-62 win against Ballantyne Ridge on the 21st. As for Sun Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-47 loss against Butler on the 25th.
